What is your New Years resolution?
Because many people are intimidated by budgets and
financial planning we've tried to make our Budget Planner for Excel and easy
and user-friendly as possible.
Income
The first step in getting control of your budget is realizing how much
you have to spend. On the Income tab of the Budget Planning spreadsheet, list
all of your sources of net income for the month (your income after taxes and
deductions). If you get paid weekly, you can easily calculate your monthly
income by multiplying your weekly pay by 52 and then dividing by 12.
After entering in all of your sources of income notice
that your total monthly income is calculated for you at the bottom.
